Winning in PUBG can be quite difficult and challenging. PUBG is actually fun to play with friends… but after a few consecutive losses, it can get annoyingly frustrating. The more you play the game, the more you learn, and the better you get. We’ve spent countless hours playing it, and had to learn things the hard way. Here are 27 rules you need to follow in order to win in PUBG:
- Never go alone or stray away from the squad.
- Never take it for granted that there’s no one around.
- Don’t be too greedy.
- Don’t take risks.
- Look before you move.
- Always communicate! Say what you loot you found, ask if anyone needs anything, and say where you saw enemies.
- Hide the car whenever you park.
- When charging a building with a car, don’t stop before you’re as close you can to a wall, to avoid getting shot when you exit the car. Try to approach at an angle where potential enemies in windows can’t see you.
- Always watch the mini-map and take note of where gunfire is coming from, or take note of your teammates’ locations and the directions they’re facing so you can help them.
- Always keep at least 2 smoke grenades with you and remember to use them for cover to escape when you’re spotted, or use them if you need to loot a risky box or drop crate. You can also use them as distractions.
- Always keep at least 2 frag grenades with you, you’ll need them at the end of the game if enemies are hiding in grass or buildings.
- Never go to a drop if you’re a bit late to it.
- Never go for a drop if there are less than 15 people remaining or the zone is small.
- Always take cover.
- Use the peek feature… it helps you stay hidden and behind cover when firing.
- Throw away useless items when it’s safe to avoid running into the problem of not having space when you’re looting something important and getting shot.
- Wear clothes the same color of the map so it’s harder for enemies to spot you.
- Have 1 leader to make decisions for each match.
- Follow the orders of the leader.
- Stick together.
- Don’t go straight on if you’re spotted… change directions and go from the enemy’s side.
- Don’t fire from the same location twice if you don’t have a suppressor.
- When telling friends about enemies, point their exact location with the “enemies ahead feature” (F2 on PC), say the direction and describe next to what they are in details so that your teammates can quickly spot them.
- Use headphones/earphones so you can better tell where enemies are coming from.
- Always be alert and be sharp.
- Always think ahead, and account for the zone. Make sure you spot a car and move out to reach the safe-zone on time.
- Team up with skilled people.
- Only play with people who have enabled voice chat so that you can communicate properly.
